Provisional Survey of Woodland Hills Subdivision by O.F. Kauffman dated March 1914 for W. E. Worley

Woodland Hills Historic District

This week LLCC submitted an application to Georgia Department of Community Affairs for a Federal Historic Register District designation of Woodland Hills (combined Dekalb & Fulton).  This is not a local historic district restricting permitting. However, any projects with federal dollars attached will require additional impact studies and reviews. The recent GDOT Carolina Rail Study did not identify Woodland Hills as a historic resource but did identify Zonolite Park as requiring additional studies if that project moves forward. This designation will also assist in obtaining grants to assist in certain neighborhood projects.
