Woodland Hills wishes you a SAFE and Happy Halloween

The Woodland Hills Neighborhood Association would like to wish everyone a Happy Halloween. Please take a few minutes to review the following trick-or-treat safety reminders.

-It is the safest choice for children to always be accompanied by a responsible adult.

-Stop only at familiar houses in your own neighborhood.

-Instruct your children not to eat any treats until they bring them home to be examined by you.

-Instruct your child to never go into the home of a stranger or get into their car.

-Make sure your child carries a flashlight, glow stick or has reflective tape on their costume to make them more visible to cars.

-Let them know that they should stay together as a group if going out to Trick or Treat without an adult.

-Please explain to your children the difference between tricks and vandalism.

-Please exercise common sense and good judgement when carving pumpkins or including candles in your Halloween decorations.

The Dekalb County Non-emergency number is 404-294-2911. If you do experience or witness a crime, first notify police by calling 911, then please alert us at the Woodland Hills Neighborhood Association by emailing Kate Martin at secretary@woodlandhillsatlanta.org or Bobby Ward at treasurer@woodlandhillsatlanta.org.

Happy Halloween!
Kate Martin

Sincerely,

The WHNA Board
