On Tuesday, May 12, Interim CEO Lee May cast the tie-breaking vote to join commissioners Larry Johnson, Sharon Barnes-Sutton and Stan Watson in providing $39.4 million in reallocated bond funding for various sidewalks, library, greenspace and parks projects.
Commissioner Rader's office let us know that the
BOND money includes work for the sidewalk on LaVista Road between Woodland Hills Drive and Shepherds Lane, and that includes the radius improvement at Woodland Hills.
This is a big win for WHNA, as this was one of the items the WHNA Board brought to their attention some time ago.
